[Begin Rant]

When I started liking wolves I didn't know that so many people on the internet liked them...

It took me a year since I was thirteen, almost fifteen now, to figure out that there are a lot of wolfaboos out on deviantART. Now I don't believe I'm a wolfaboo; whatever that exactly means. But it seriously pisses me off when I see a person on dA that's like: "Oh! I love wolves! They're so cute and cuddly!" And then I see they know nothing about them. All they seem to care about is that they are either related to dogs or they're cute.

Seriously? Just what the heck guys.

Wolves, or any animal in general, shouldn't be loved or obsessed over just because they arecute and cuddly or whatever other adjective you want to throw in there. (Unless of course you say you love cute animals!)

In my mind, I believe every animal has it's pride, honer, etc depending on it's character. With wolves I believe them to be loyal, friendly, fierce, protective, and downright beautiful as a creature. Now don't get me wrong, they're not perfect. They're also cautious, temperamental, dangerous, and protective isn't just a good trait; it's also a bad trait.

Every creature on Earth has it's flaws and it's strengths against others. So excuse me if it pisses me off if you don't have any information on the animal you claim to have an obsession over when you don't even know basic information about them.

Besides that this is also a hello to my, admittedly few, watchers. I'm sorry I've been inactive; I definitely didn't follow on that 'daily sketch' thing. My most recent picture on here, drawn, was my ID and I think that was, what? Six, seven months ago, give or take. I'm not going to sit here and spout lies of telling you I'll be active more soon, because I just won't. I want to focus on my writing and school. (Right now my grades ain't too hot.) So really just don't expect any recent drawings for a while~ But hey, third-day weekend for me since it's President's Day on Monday so something could happen in that span of time right? Cross your fingers mates.
